Dnipro is the space and business capital of Ukraine. Due to the developed military industry, Dnepropetrovsk (until 2016) was a city closed to foreigners until the 1990s. The Dnieper is one of the 6 cities of Ukraine where an opera house and a higher education institution with a musical profile are working.
