Alley of Glory

In the Alley of Glory are usally held solemn parades, festive fireworks.nNot only veterans come to the Alley, but also students, guys,soon joining the army, newlyweds. Today, various Alleys of Glory can be found in almost every city, but this tradition began to lay alleys is from Zaporizhzhia – this is the very first Alley of Glory of the Soviet Union. In 1965, throughout the country,was solemnly celebrated the 20th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. Zaporizhzhia, the largest industrial center has already recovered from the war and had a peaceful life. The city authorities decided to celebrate this event unordinary for its time. It was decided to create a park in the heart of the city. And not to just arrange a green zone, but to invite Heroes of War, who liberated or defended the Zaporizhzhia region, in order that they planted their own tree in the new park.
