The house in which the Ural writer Pavel Petrovich Bazhov lived. This house was built by Pavel Petrovich Bazhov himself about a hundred years ago.nBazhov wrote all his works, including the most famous book of the writer’s tales, “The Malachite Box” (1939), “Far and Close” (1949), in this house, on the corner of Streets of Bishops (present-day Chapaev) and Bolotnaya (present Bolshakov ). The museum was founded by a decision of the executive committee of the city council of March 22, 1966 and order on the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation No. 117 of March 1, 1967 – on the organization of the P. P. Bazhov Museum in Sverdlovsk.
