Branca Tower – “Milan Eiffel Tower” – was built in 1933 to the opening of the anniversary exhibition in the Triennale Museum, located in the park “Sempione”. This is a pyramidal design with an internal hexagonal section. Its height is about 109 m. High-speed elevator lifts visitors to the observation platform in just 1.5 minutes.nIn 1972, the bolted fastenings of metal structures were weakened, and access to the top was closed due to the danger of collapse. Now the structure has been supplemented with braces of steel cables fixing its position regardless of the strength of the wind. However, in bad weather, the ascent is closed.
