Catholic church and monastery Benedictine – Polish architectural monument in Lviv.nThe complex was built by the famous Lviv architect Pavel Roman Roman in 1595. The complex is surrounded by protective walls (preserved from the XVII century) and served as the defense of Lviv Posad. The buildings suffered from a fire in 1623 and were then restored by 1627. After the fire of 1748, the complex was restored by the architect Urbanik. As a result of the restructuring, the church lost its original appearance. To the southeastern part of the church adjoins a stone two-storey building of cells. The building of cells preserved the techniques and elements of the Renaissance architecture.
