Description

The central square is the square that arose in the 19th century when the authorities decided to transfer trade from all city markets here. Initially, it was called Bazarnaya. A little later, private houses began to be erected around the perimeter, and a circus and a chapel (demolished in Soviet times) were also built. In the XX century, the space of the square was expanded and several more objects were erected on it as part of the program to create the central part of Tyumen.
