Columbus Park

Columbus Park is a public park in Chinatown, Manhattan, in New York City. Today, the park often serves as a gathering place for the local Chinese community, where the neighborhood meets up here to play mahjong, perform traditional Chinese music and practice tai chi in the early mornings. In the heart of the park, we see this in the games of Mahjong between old men, and the daycare playgrounds full of children and laughter. There are basketball courts and tennis nets, pathways and walkways leading from end to end, trees and gardens full of flowers.
