Description

Frauenkirche – Frauenkirche’s two iconic onion domes are the most distinctive part of the Munich skyline. It was built in the late 15th century but was badly damaged by airstrikes in World War II and has been gradually restored. Look round the small inner chapels, and also find the grave of Holy Roman Emperor Ludwig the Bavarian inside. Climb the south tower for views across Munich – see right across to the Alps a clear day.
