Description

Haulover became very popular as a clothing-optional beach when the revenue-hungry county looked the other way as they collected fees from naturists to use the beach. However, too little clothing became too much of an issue, and a reasonably fair solution was to limit clothing-optional access to the northernmost 800-yard stretch of the beach. The north end of the beach that’s designated for naturists has been partitioned off out of the view of families and others who do not wish to swim and sun without clothing. Facilities include restrooms, showers, concessions, picnic tables, and lifeguards that are on duty while the park is open.
