Description

The building was constructed in 1902 in the neo-Gothic style by the design of Nikolai Vishnevsky. In the courtyard were stables and carriage sheds, in the basement – laundry and individual cellars with wood warehouses for each apartment. nAcademicians – poet and literary critic Nikolai Bazhan, economist Pavel Pershin lived here.nIn 1943 the house burned and was restored in 1944 by prisoners of war.nThe front facade is symmetrical and abundantly covered with various decorative elements that resemble the fabulous “gingerbread house”. To decorate the front facade, the architect used almost all the elements typical of the Gothic style: pointed turrets, archbutans, lancet and semicircular windows, and the main entrance portal borrowed from the English Gothic.
