That is why Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich the Silent, a big fan of hunting, chose these places for his palace estate. Alexei Mikhailovich, following the then European enthusiasm for park art, arranged in his estate “Divine Gardens” with a wide range of plants – prototypes of Russian botanical gardens.
