La Scala is an opera house in Milan, founded in 1778. Antonio Bernokki, was the maximum financier for the reconstruction of Teatro alla Scala in Milan, which suffered from the bombing of the war and reopened “as it was and where it was” on May 11, 1946.nDuring the excavation of the site for the construction of the theater, a large marble block was found, which depicted Pilad, the famous mime of ancient Rome. This was taken as a good sign.nSince the 1930s, the history of “La Scala” is connected with the work of the greatest Italian composers – G. Donizetti, V. Bellini, G. Verdi, J. Puccini, whose works were staged here for the first time.
