Liberator Soldier Monument

“In honor of the 55th anniversary of Victory in World War II, in May 2000, a monument was opened on the Fountain Square in the Primorsky District of Mariupol, in which the warrior-winner with a laurel branch in his outstretched arm took center stage. Сounter-relief stripes imitating the coloring of the boundary pillars.nOn the pedestal there is a granite board with the names of city leaders and enterprises that took part in the creation of the monument. It is made of reinforced concrete using copper sheet. The authors of the monument: artists Lel Kuzminkov and Valentin Konstantinov.nThe memorial monument is a venue for commemorative and ceremonial events dedicated to the Victory in the Second World War.
