Lviv Literary and Memorial Museum of Ivan Franko

In this house a great writer, scientist, political and public figure lived, wrote his best works, and from here he went to immortality. The museum completely reconstituted a room of Ivan Franko. His piano, desk where he worked, are shown in the museum. Franco’s personal items on his desk are: an inkwell with a pen, books, a paper-cutting knife, a candlestick, a manuscript box. At this table the writer wrote hundreds of works including the poem “Moses.” At the table next to the chair is a fishing net woven by the writer himself.
