Mariupol mosque in honor of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent and Roksolana

Description

The Mariupol mosque in honor of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent and Roksolana with one minaret was built in 2007 in the Primorsky park of Mariupol with sponsorship from the Turkish metal trader Salih Jihan and the Azerbaijani community of the city. The mosque was dedicated to the Turkish Sultan Suleiman the Great and his wife Roksolana, and its prototype served as the Suleymani Jami mosque in Istanbul. This is not only a working temple, but also an Islamic cultural center. The mosque with a minaret and a well-kept courtyard became a new landmark in Mariupol, as well as a popular place for wedding photos.
