It was the natives of Odessa, Ilf and Petrov who presented the inimitable novel “12 chairs”, one of the most famous and beloved works in our country, to domestic and world literature.nThe citizens of Odessa decided to perpetuate the achievement of outstanding citizens in bronze in the 1990s, and the same chair appeared on the city’s embankment, the search for which the heroes of the novel devoted most of their time to. A monument was erected on April Fool’s Day.
