Monument to Leopold von Sacher-Masoch

In the center of Lviv you can see an interesting and extraordinary sculpture – the monument to Leopold von Sacher-Masoch. Unlike the rest of the monuments, this should not only look, it should be felt, and in a very specific place. After all, Masokh is a native of Lviv and a famous Austrian writer, whose surname glorified the method described in his writings for obtaining sexual pleasure from humiliation, named in his honor masochism. The monument to Mazoho appeared at the entrance to the restaurant of the same name in Lviv in 2008. Skilfully executed with a bunch of interesting details, the sculpture of the authorship of Lviv, Volodymyr Tsisik, from the very first days attracted crowds of people who wanted to try the advantages of masochism in a new restaurant, and also to make a savory shot holding a hand in the pocket of the famous writer’s pants.
