Monument to lovers

On the eve of Victory Day in the capital, a monument was set to Luigi and Mokrin – the Italian and Ukrainians, whom they introduced and separated the war and who carried their love through their lives and 60 years later met thanks to the TV program “Wait for me”.nLuigi Pedutto came to the grand opening of the sculpture “Love Story”. Luigi Pedutto and Mokrina Yurzuk met in an Austrian prisoner of war camp in 1943. They have been together for two years. They met again in 2004 in the studio of the program “Wait for me.”
