Description

Opened in 1920, the Sochi Historical Museum has become the oldest cultural institution in the city. The first museum collection was based on exhibits of the Caucasus Mountain Club, dedicated to the nature of the region and the life of the inhabitants of the Black Sea coast. Initially, the exhibits were located in the premises of a private house.
