The main idea of the museum is an excursion into the history associated with the struggle for national revival, the phenomenon of samizdat, repression to which the sixties underwent, the revival of folk traditions.nThe exhibition has thousands of exhibits: manuscripts, old photographs, personal belongings of the sixties. Contains materials that belong to or are associated with Vasily Stus, Ivan and Nadezhda Svetlichnaya, Nikolai Vingranovsky, Vyacheslav Chornovil, Alla Gorska, Ivan Drach, Dmitry Pavlychko and others. nShows the phenomenon of the sixties as a turning point in the history of Ukrainian culture of the Soviet period. After the devastation and decline of the 1930s-1950s, these were the first steps of non-conformism, intransigence and stubborn opposition in literature, the visual arts, theater, and cinema.
