Description

Norashen Church is an Armenian church in Tbilisi. The church was founded in 1467 by a certain Sadat, an Armenian by nationality, who built it in memory of his father, wife and children. In 1650, the Armenian prince Khoja Nazar restored and completed the church. It is known that the dome of the church was made by the Armenian master Petros.
