Description

It was founded in 1977 on the initiative of Nikita Brygin, opened for visitors in 1984. This is one of the largest regional literary museums in Ukraine.nThis is the palace of Prince Gagarin, designed by the architect Otto in the early fifties of the 19th century. The interiors of the palace combine various architectural styles: classicism, baroque and empire. Historians say that the Hungarian composer and pianist Ferenz Liszt gave a concert in the grand “Golden Hall”.n In addition to the permanent exhibition, the museum regularly hosts exhibitions devoted to writers’ anniversaries, as well as literary evenings, concerts of classical and jazz music, book presentations, and conferences.
