Odessa Theater of Musical Comedy

The theater started its first season in the spring of 1947 in Lviv. In 1953, the young team, which had already received recognition, was transferred to Odessa. Here the creative potential of the troupe was able to unfold in full force. Performances about Odessa and its people became the zest of the theater. The sold-out troupe toured all the cities of the former Soviet Union. Due to the fact that on the basis of several performances were made movie versions, the leading artists of the theater learned the whole country.
