This is one of the youngest parks in the city, which, however, has one peculiarity – it is always crowded here. The park, that is, its green zone, was held back in 1961 by the city authorities and the residents of Odessa themselves. A lot of energy was spent to make this park one of the best. After 12 years, in October 1973, they made a grand opening. Gorky Park today remains one of the most beautiful parks in Odessa. Visitors can feel the unique oneness with nature here. Many bushes of thujas and cotoneaster, jasmine, lilac and mallow were planted around. According to some information, there are more than 6000 trees in the park. In the spring, a pleasant scent of flowers reigns here.
