The main attraction is the Church of the Holy Raki, from which the area and got its name. The first church was built on this site in 1030. On March 23, 1919, Benito Mussolini held a rally on this square, at which the creation of a movement called the Italian Union of Struggle was announced. From 1921 to 1924, the central organs of the National Fascist Party were located on Piazza San Sepolcro. Currently, the square in front of the church, where a rally was held in 1919, is reserved for a parking lot, which is rarely free in the center of the metropolis. This eliminates the possibility of using the San Sepolcro Square to hold new rallies.
