Description

The post office building on Railway Station Square was built in 1927-1929 by architect Mordinov. During World War II, the building was severely damaged and was rebuilt again only in 1950. Small balconies on the tower of the Post Office have survived to this day – at one time they were intended for carrier pigeons.
