Description

In the Stained Glass Museum exhibition spaces are blended with the old stained glass workshop, functioning since 1902. Visitors can observe the process of creating stained glass, unchanged for centuries. The museum’s seat is a building adjusted to the needs of the oldest Polish stained glass workshop. Its structure has also been unchanged, with every chamber having its own function in a production process. The “live museum’s” visiting trail runs through the house interiors that preserved its original character with the unique furnishing and workshop equipment. Exhibition spaces contain both: contemporary and historical stained glass artworks, as well as stained glass projects, including those made by the most renowned artists of the Polish Art Nouveau period.
