Description

The Supreme Court Building houses the Supreme Court of the United States. Completed in 1935. The building is under the jurisdiction of the Architect of the Capitol. On May 4, 1987, the Supreme Court Building was designated a National Historic Landmark. The Supreme Court Building is the official residence and workplace of the Supreme Court Justices of the United States. The building was also referred to as The Marble Palace by John Frank.
