The monument to The Beatles in Yekaterinburg, erected on May 23, 2009, is the first monument dedicated to the famous Liverpool four in Russia and the third in the territory of the former USSR (the first was opened in the Ukrainian city of Donetsk, the second in Kazakhstan’s Alma-Ata).
