The Holy Protection Cathedral

The Holy Protection Cathedral is almost an exact copy of the main temple of Olexandrivsk, destroyed by the Bolsheviks. Before the October Revolution, the old temple was located on the site where the cathedral was now built. His sketches were found in the archives of St. Petersburg. Architect Dmitry Romanov studied all the materials found, analyzed the centuries-old experience of church design and recreated the Holy Protection Cathedral.
