There is an attractive house on the street, which bears the name of an outstanding city architect Viktor Alexandrovich Nielsen. Its originality, which is expressed in interesting architectural forms and sculptural elements, catches the eye of people immediately. This house more than a hundred years ago was built by the architect Victor Nielsen for himself and his family. However, before long the construction was completed, Viktor Aleksandrovich sold the house to a Cossack officer, while he moved to a new building near the City Garden.nA house with lions is known to residents of Mariupol because of its facade, combined with elements of the modern architectural style. Red-gray brickwork and mascarons in the shape of lions’ masks make the house completely atypical for the historic part of the city. However, its author could realize the most unexpected ideas, creating his own unique creations of architecture.
