The Kyiv Literary-Memorial Museum of Maxim Rylsky is located in the house where the last 13 years of Maxim Rylsky’s life (1951–1964) were spent, in which he created his poetic works – collections “Roses and Grapes”, “Winter Records”, “Evening Conversations”. The two-storey house was built according to the project of Maxim Fadeyevich himself. There were, both during the writer’s life, and after, many famous figures of the Ukrainian-speaking culture, various events were held.nIn addition to the personal belongings of Maxim Rylsky, the museum is especially valuable in manuscripts of his works, correspondence of the poet, works of fine art from the 1940-1960s, film and photo documents.
