It was here that the idea of the writer Arthur Conan Doyle rented rooms Sherlock Holmes and his assistant Doctor Watson. The building was bought by the fans of this literary work. The museum opened relatively recently – in 1990. The rooms recreated the situation, exactly corresponding to the author’s description of Arthur Conan Doyle.
