Theatre of Drama and Comedy

Among other Ukrainian theaters, the Kyiv Academic Drama and Comedy Theater has a special place. The theater, which emerged on the wave of democratic changes in society in the late 1970s, today is widely known and popular with the audience, authoritative among specialists. The first meeting of the theater troupe was held on September 7, 1978.nIn May 1982, the city authorities handed over to the young theater the building of the Kosmos cinema on the Left Bank massif.nOn December 21, 1990, with the presentation “I am always your bride” by Ioseliani, the official opening of the theater on the left bank took place.
