Times Square

Times Square is a major commercial intersection, tourist destination, entertainment center and neighborhood in the Midtown Manhattan section of New York City at the junction of Broadway and Seventh Avenue. One of the world’s busiest pedestrian areas, it is also the hub of the Broadway Theater District and a major center of the world’s entertainment industry. While New York was growing, Times Square quickly became a cultural center, filled with theaters, concert halls and high-end hotels. Broadway theaters, a lot of bright neon posters and signs, large commercials, that are being shown on the screens all over the place, made Times Square a giant part on modern culture of New York. This is the only district of the city, where the people, who live there should put out bright commercial banners.
