Watchtower of the Odessa quarantine

Walking along the sea through Shevchenko Park, one of the largest and greenest parks in Odessa, do not forget to look at the Powder Tower and take a picture against the backdrop of the arcade of the Odessa Fortress, part of the quarantine complex once located here. In the basement of the powder tower there is a free Museum of the city’s history, and from the observation deck there is a magnificent view of the Gulf of Odessa and the port. By the way, in the 70s-80s of the last century there was a billiard room very close by, in which they shot some scenes of the film “The meeting place cannot be changed.”
