Zoological Museum of the Ivan Franko National University

The Cabinet of Natural History was founded in 1784.nWith the arrival of Professor Dybowski at the Lviv University, the museum acquired the status of Zoological. nDuring the 80s of the 20th century, the main focus of the museum’s work was to preserve the collected samples.nIn 2003, information about the Zoological Museum was included in the 9th edition of the Museums Of The World (Leipzig, Germany) and since that time is published annually in each subsequent edition.
