Description

On September 11, 1863, the foundation of the Brodsky synagogue was laid, and from 1870 a new building of the Gothic-Florentian style accepted worshipers. Two architects worked on the general project of the building and the adjacent territory. The project of the synagogue is owned by Joseph Nikolaevich Kolovich. The carved fencing ornament was created by Morandi.nIn 1925, the synagogue from the Jewish community was taken away and handed over to the Jewish workers’ club named after Rosa Luxemburg. In 1929 the building was handed over to a shoe factory club.
