Description

In 1857, Anna Gerasimovna Kalita, the wife of Lieutenant-General Taras Kalita, head of the artillery garrisons of the Kiev Military District, received this territory. nThe main entrance is arranged not just from the street, but through a gate flanked by statues of winged demons holding a bay window. The drive to the courtyard took into account the dimensions of horse-drawn carriages, as a result of which elevations were seen on both sides, limiting the movement of the wheels. The heavy ramified gates and front doors capture attention. On the doorstep guests are greeted with a salute inscription, made in a mosaic floor using the terazo technique.
