The land for the hospital was bought by the city authorities from Prince Zhevakhov. Due to Andrivesky’s contribution to the development of the Kuyalnik resort, the estuary itself has long been called Andrievsky. The first buildings of the hospital, designed by architect Koshelov, have not been preserved, the ancient buildings of the sanatorium, which have survived to our days, were created at the end of the 19th century by the architect Tolvinsky. It is Tolvinsky in 1898 who will become the author of the monument to Erast Andrievsky, which is located at the entrance to the mud baths.
