Kyiv History Museum

Created by order of the Council of Ministers of the Ukrainian SSR on November 14, 1978.nThe funds of the museum were formed on the basis of exhibits transferred from the Institute of Archeology of the Academy of Sciences of the Ukrainian SSR, as well as gifts from enterprises and institutions.nNow the museum has 250 thousand exhibits.nThe museum collection consisted of archaeological materials found on the territory of the city, ethnographic and numismatic collections, a collection of icons, postcards, everyday items from Kyiv people of different times, as well as thematic complexes of the 20th century.n
