The National Museum of Literature of Ukraine

The museum is located in the house-monument of architecture of the 19th century, built in 1870 according to the design of the architect Schille. Since 1871, the College of Pavel Galagan, which was considered one of the best private educational institutions of the capital of Ukraine, was located in this house. Currently, the library has a permanent exposition, the materials of which tell about the history of this educational institution. nThe National Museum of Literature of Ukraine is the central museum of a similar profile in the country. His exposition is quite large, it covers all periods of development of Ukrainian literature, starting with the stage of Kievan Rus and ending with modernity. The total number of exhibits on display is about 5,000 units, in total, the museum has about 85,000 items of storage items.
