Description

The monument to the Belarusian writer, poet Vladimir Korotkevich was opened on October 20, 2011. The sculptural composition, made of bronze, is a figure of the writer on the background of a huge open book. The most famous works of the author are the story “The Wild Hunt of King Stach”, based on which in 1980 a feature film was shot, the novel “Ears under your sickle”, as well as the novels “Christ landed in Gorodno” and “Black Olshansky Castle”.
