National Palace

The National Palace is a public palace and one of the most important sights in Barcelona.nLocated on Mount Montjuic. Built in 1926-1929. for the 1929 World’s Fair.nThe construction is made in the classic style of the Spanish Renaissance and consists of the main rectangular part, two side parts and the rear platform. On a well illuminated building in the evening, spotlights were installed, painting the name of the city in the sky.nSince 1934, the National Museum of Art of Catalonia has been located in the palace. On the way down in front of the palace there is a huge Magic Fountain, famous for the evening light and music show.
