Olympic and Sports Museum Joan Antoni Samaranch

Olympic-Sports Museum named after Samaranch was opened in 2007, located in Barcelona. In June 2010, he was named after Juan Antonio Samaranch, president of the International Olympic Committee in 1980-2001. Located opposite the Olympic Stadium, in a limited area. The museum covers the topic of sports for people with disabilities and sports in general. It is shown how sport can contribute to the education of universal values, the introduction of innovations into everyday life. The “space of heroes” section presents the achievements of outstanding Spanish athletes. It also provides an area for mass sports and major events.
