The Poldi Pezzoli Museum is a museum in Milan, founded by Jan Giacomo Poldi Pezzoli in the middle of the 19th century as a private collection. Open to the public since 1881. The museum has a large collection of weapons, armor, painting of the XIV-XIX centuries, Italian classic sculpture, Renaissance furniture, Persian carpets and Flemish tapestries, Venetian glass and antique ceramics. Of particular interest are the works of artists of northern Italy and the old Dutch masters. Antique arts and crafts are concentrated in this museum.
