Porticus

Porticus – an exhibition hall in the city of Frankfurt, opened in 1987 in the building of the old city library, built in the classical style and included a portico; since May 2006 it has been located in a separate building next to the Old Bridge, designed by Frankfurt architect Christoph Meckler; the hall specializes in presenting contemporary art – both works by famous authors and aspiring artists; closely connected with the local art school “Shtedelshule.”
