The Red Line is a walking tourist route in Yekaterinburg for independent residents and guests of the city to take an excursion through the historical city center. The author of the project idea was D. Kalayev, Advisor to the Minister of Economy of the Sverdlovsk Region. The idea was discussed on the Internet, almost 11 thousand people took part in its discussion, and they determined by vote which sights will be included in the route.nThe non-profit project was implemented by volunteers of Yekaterinburg with the support of entrepreneurs and the city administration, the organizers included the “father of the Ural Internet” Evgeny Zorin. The route is painted in red on the sidewalks of the central part of the city of Yekaterinburg, the points of view of the sights are indicated by numbering, also painted on the sidewalk, which, if there is a guide, allows you to navigate the route without the help of a guidenThe length of the Red Line of Yekaterinburg is about six and a half kilometers
