Named after the two-time world champion Giuseppe Meazza. Initially, San Siro, named after the suburb where it is located, was the home stadium of Milan, formed in 1899 by the Englishman Alfred Edwards. Currently, a hippodrome is located in the stadium area beyond the eastern stand. In addition to football matches, the stadium hosts concerts of famous musicians and groups.
