Description

Sony Center is an ensemble of buildings on Potsdamer Platz in the center of the German capital, one of the symbols of the new Berlin. The Sony Center forms a triangle in shape, on top of which is a BahnTower 103 meters high. The historical core of the Sony Center is formed by the preserved elements of the Esplanade Hotel. The breakfast room of the Esplanade Hotel, which is protected by the state as an architectural monument, was disassembled into 500 parts, and then was restored along with the Imperial Hall at a new location in the Sony Center and now adorns the restaurant with the historical name Café Josty. The Sony Center houses offices, residential premises, a cinema, an entertainment center, and retail and gastronomy enterprises.
